Two questions:- why the "onion root" and not the "onion"? (I'm ignorant, that's why I'm asking!) :-)- why "inside out"? Isn't emerging always from inside out?I can see the image, but I didn't catch the "aha" moment; maybe you did but can show it in some other way?
Hi again :)Paul, you're not ignorant, but only curious :))Well, when I was cooking, to cut the onion in slices, one starts by cutting the root which is the hard part on the top. And when I cut it, I digged deeper and removed more of the hard part when suddenly white liquid overflowed and filled the hole.As for "inside out" I felt like giving another similar image to accentuate my surprise. I first thought it wasn't a good idea to repeat, but then I imagined it the way children tell things by explaining twice or more (with hands and eyes) ...I could work more on it if you prefer, Paul .. any suggestions??
While driving tonight, I pictured how the white juice emerged:Cutting the onion root,White juice emergesLike a flower in bloom
